Bishop of the Anglican Diocese of Enugu North, Rt. Rev. Sosthenes Ikechukwu Eze has congratulated the Senate Minority Whip and the Senator representing Enugu West in the Senate, Engr. Osita Ngwu on his ‘impactful’ first year in office.
He noted that the Senator has effectively represented the district and his anniversary celebration last May and June was devoted to flag-off of several projects in the district.
The Bishop who was presenting his charge at the third session of the Church’s fifth synod, noted that the youths in the area benefited immensely from the Senator’s empowerment program.

He urged the Senator to continue to make the welfare of the people, the focus of his service in the Senate.
The Synod holding at the Christ Church, Umuaka, Nsude, is being attended by five other Bishops and many other top clergymen across the country.
He hoped that the Senator would continue to carry out programs that would impact the people of the district.
The Synod with the theme ‘Be Still’ (Psalm 46:10) commenced on Thursday 11th July and will end on Sunday 14th July, 2024.
Among the visiting Bishops are Bishop Onyeka Onyia (Nike Diocese and Supervising Bishop of Enugu), Bishop Emmanuel Ugwu (Awgu/Aninri) and Bishop Chidi Oparajiaku (Ohaji/Egbema).
The Senator was represented at the event by Mr. Linus Ugwunwa and his SSA on Religious Matters, Ms. Chioma Ononyaba.
