Another Kano Commissioner Quits 7 Months After Appointment,Gives No Reason

By Achadu Gabriel, Kaduna Another Commissioner in the Kano State Executive Council has resigned from office, the second this year. Major General Muhammad Inuwa Idris (rtd), Commissioner for Internal Security and Special Services, threw in the towel over undisclosed reasons. Approval for his resignation has already been confirmed in a statement issued by Sanusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, spokesperson to the State Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf. The spokesman stated that Gov. Yusuf has formally accepted the resignation, expressing appreciation for the retired Army General’s contributions during his tenure.
