After Almost 2 Weeks Of Hostilities, India And Pakistan Agree To A Ceasefire


India and Pakistan have agreed to a “full and immediate ceasefire” following a night of talks mediated by the United States.

US President Donald Trump made this disclosure in a post on his Truth Social platform on Saturday.

“After a long night of talks mediated by the United States, I am pleased to announce that India and Pakistan have agreed to a FULL AND IMMEDIATE CEASEFIRE,” the US president said.

Indian Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri, in a press briefing Saturday afternoon, also confirmed the ceasefire which he said took immediate effect.
