Former Director General of Gusau Central Market, Zamfara State, Honorable Bello Abdullahi Gwaram, has displayed the milk of human kindness, donating foodstuff items and N500,000 cash to supporters and the vulnerable in All Progressives Congress (APC).
Hon. Gwaram, who is also the current serving Secretary to Jaji Coordinating Committee Talata Mafara, made the donation in his home town, Gwaram, Talata Mafara Local Government Area (LGA) of the state.
He emphasized the importance of party supporters, describing them as the pillar of any political organization.
Hon. Gwaram said the donation is part of his efforts to help the needy, adding that he inherited the humanitarian spirit from his mentor, Rep. Aminu Sani Jaji, member of the House of Representatives for Kaura Namoda and Birnin Magaji constituency of the state.
“This contribution we have given is a way to reduce the pain and hardships that others are facing, especially at this time of economic hardship,” he noted.
Gwaram called on wealthy individuals to support the needy so as to promote humanitarian services and sustainable community development, stressing that such would strengthen friendship and unity in the community.
On his part, he restated, he will continue such gestures into the future.
Some of those who benefited from the gesture expressed joy and gratitude to Hon. Gwaram, stressing that the assistance would greatly reduce their pains.
For instance, one of the beneficiaries, Malam Sanusi Hamidu, said: “This support came at a time when we need it. We will use it to assist our families and other necessary things to make life easy.
“May God Almighty bless you, Honourable Bello Abdullahi Gwaram, and make you soar higher in your future endeavours.”
