Peace In South-East: Soludo Visits Nnamdi Kanu In DSS Custody
Anambra State governor, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo, on Friday visited the detained leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Mazi Nnamdi Kanu. Kanu who is facing trial for alleged treason has been in the custody of the Department of State Services (DSS) in Abuja. He was rearrested in Kenya last year and brought back to Nigeria. A statement by the governor said the visit was "to felicitate with him and also as part of the wider consultations with critical stakeholders in search of lasting peace and security in the South East."
