The decision was made after a congress held on Thursday where the ASUU members reviewed the outcome of a conciliation meeting between the state government and ASUU leadership. ASUU SSU Chairperson, Saidu Abubakar, and Secretary, Hassan Aliyu, stated that following thorough discussions on the government’s proposal, its members voted to suspend the strike.
