Fiery Ijaw Nationalist, EK Clark, Is Dead

Ijaw nationalist and former Federal Commissioner for Information, Chief Edwin Kiagbodo Clark, is dead. The prominent South-South leader, died on Monday night, aged 97. Chief Clark, a former Senator, was leader of Pan Niger Delta Forum (PANDEF). Details of his last moments are still not available but a statement signed by Prof. C. C. The trial of former Acting Accountant-General of the Federation, Mr. Chukwunyere Anamekwe Nwabuoku began on Friday, January 31, 2025 before Justice James Omotosho of the Federal High Court, Maitama, Abuja with witnesses narrating how the defendant as former Director, Finance and Account in the Federal Ministry of Defence, opened multiple bank accounts through which he allegedly diverted the ministry’s funds.
