Former Chairman of Oluyole Local Government Area (LGA) of Oyo State, Alhaji Kehinde Olatunji Olaosebikan, has reaffirmed his commitment to mobilizing voters enmass for a resounding victory for President Bola Tinubu’s re-election in 2027.
Olaosebikan made this known while declaring his aspiration to seek the All Progressives Congress (APC) ticket to contest for the Oluyole House of Representatives seat, at the weekly meeting of APC in Oluyole LGA yesterday.
Olaosebikan, a former Chief Press Secretary (CPS) to late Governor Lam Adesina, who donated a new Secretariat to APC in the LGA, assured the mammoth crowd of party members who turned out to witness him throw his hat in the ring, that he is mobilizing support across party lines for the re-election of President Tinubu in the January 2027 election.
He said Nigeria will vote President Tinubu because of the several reforms he has put in place through the Renewed Hope Agenda.
While soliciting support for his ambition to represent the party in the coming election for the Oluyole Federal Constituency, Olaosebikan said many people in the LGA have assured him that if he gets the ticket for the House of Representatives seat, they will vote for APC in all the coming elections in the LGA.
His words: “Members of other political parties in Oluyole Local Government are already assuring me that if the APC gives me the ticket, they will mobilize their members not only for my elections but for all the APC candidates in the next year’s election.”
Speaking on the donation of the new Secretariat to the party, Olaosebikan said that he considered it necessary for APC, as a progressive party, to have a better and more spacious place for its activities.
The new Secretariat, according to Olaosebikan, has offices for the party Chairman, Secretary, State party executive from the LGA, and spaces for all other officers.
“With the spacious place now, our youths and our women can have a convenient place for their meetings,” he declared.
On his programmes for the people of the constituency, Olaosebikan said if elected, he will ensure good development for the constituency.
He promised to facilitate education support, employment, and skills acquisition programs for the youth as well as employment opportunities.
The popular politician said he would assist indigent students to further their education and provide necessary support for women.
The declaration, which attracted a large number of party faithful, was presided over by the APC Chairman in the LGA, Prince Dotun Oladipupo.
All notable party leaders in the constituency, including Hon. Adeyemo, Alhaji Razak Akilapa, Hon. Muideen Abiodun, Hon. Ibrahim Olaifa, Hon. Moruf Lamolo, Hon. Tunde Elegbede, Ambassador Waheed Olawale Adewale, Hon. Kamorudeen Adeoye, Hon. Alamu and others graced the occasion.
Olaosebikan has been consistent in his support for the President promising to triple Tinubu’s votes in 2027 in the constituency.
