Actress Biola Adekunle has recanted her earlier position on movie marketer, Mr. Busayo Odu of Integrity Productions owing her, saying this time that he is no longer owing her money for a film production.
“He has since paid me all money due to me. We had worked together seamlessly before that time. It was due to communication gap. People should discountenance all those videos I did then,” she said.
Recall that Adekunle, in a series of Instagram and other social media videos, had appeared about December 2022, crying out that she was being owed by the popular movie marketer.
At the said time, Odu, a movie distributor known for his forthrightness, was ill and hospitalised in the United States.
In a new development, Adekunle appeared on a talk show, Oyinmomo , and begged Nigerians to discountenance all previous videos she did on the matter, claiming that Mr. Odu was no longer owing her a penny.
She apologized to Odu, saying she did not know he was sick before calling him out in those videos in 2022.
She also admitted using the defamatory post about Odu as an avenue to raise money, because of what she was going through.
But she denied the news making the rounds that she made up to N10 million after doing the videos.
During the interview aired on the Oyinmomo show, she admitted that Odu had helped her career in the past before she came on the social media to call him out when he was unable to pay for the last business they transacted together due to his illness then.
