By Rosemary Ameh, Sokoto Sokoto State Government has issued a warning urging residents to remain vigilant following a rising number of meningitis cases in several Local Government Areas (LGAs) of the North-Western Nigeria State. The warning was contained in a statement on Tuesday, March 11, signed by the State Commissioner for Health, Dr. Faruk Umar Abubakar while alerting residents on the disease outbreak.
