*Gov Adeleke Votes, Raises Alarm Over Bid To Bypass Due Collation Process
Popular influencer and social media activist, Martin Vincent Otse, known also as VeryDarkMan (VDM), has questioned what he described as President Bola Tinubu’s involvement in today’s Osun State gubernatorial election.
The poll pitches second term-seeking Governor Ademola Adeleke of Accord Party against Bola Oyebamiji of Tinubu’s All Progressives Congress (APC) as well as the African Democratic Congress (ADC) candidate, Najeem Salaam, in a fiery contest dominated by pre-election killings, violence and high tension.
Accusing the President of sending APC governors and senators to manipulate the Osun election, VDM advised Tinubu to allow the “people decide in a free and fair election.”
In a video, he reacted to the presence of several APC governors and senators from different parts of the country in Osun State.
Alleging that Tinubu’s plan is to bully, oppress, and manipulate the election results, the activist stated: “Sending your APC governors and senators to OSUN shows the election won’t be credible and fair.”
Tagging the official handle of the President to the post, VDM posted on Instagram: “@officialasiwajubat you do know that the kind of political bullying, oppressive structure you have put on ground with APC, if anything happens to you today, there will be a lot of problems even for you family.
“Tell me why you have APC governors going to observe the Osun election if not to go and bully, oppress and manipulate the election results? It’s very clear and obvious WHAT might be the outcome of the ADELEKES considering the illegality that has happened before now.
“This is not me campaigning for Adeleke because I also believe that if he did so well he won’t even need to campaign (see Alex otti). That being said @officialasiwajubat LET HIS PEOPLE DECIDE in a free and fair election. today IS THE DAY.”

Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun State has raised the alarm over an alleged plot to disrupt the ongoing governorship election in the state, accusing the APC of bringing a police officer from Port Harcourt to “disorganise the vote.”
Adeleke made the allegation shortly after casting his ballot in the ongoing gubernatorial election, at Unit 009, Ward 2, Ede North Local Government Area (LGA).
Speaking after voting, Adeleke called on the Inspector General of Police (IGP) Tunji Disu and other security agencies to pay close attention to the activities of the officer and ensure that the electoral process is not disrupted.
Adeleke said: “It’s going well and I hope it continues like that, but I got some information from my people in Osun State. There is one Police officer called London from Port Harcourt; they brought him to come and disorganise the vote. So I am calling on the Inspector General of Police and all the security agents to watch out and be on the lookout.”
The governor further alleged that the officer was brought into Osun by the APC as part of an alleged plan to interfere with the election, particularly in his hometown, Ede.
“The APC in Osun brought him to come and destroy my town.
“The Police Commissioner, election; the DIG, election, should take note and all my people in Ede should watch out and I have it on authority of information that they don’t want to go through the normal process of from units to wards and to local government.
“They just want to take it all the way to the collation centre and that is not acceptable. They must follow the rules and that’s why I am alerting my people to watch out and I know, by the special grace of God, that I am winning this election,” the governor said.
Adeleke’s allegation comes amid heightened political tension and concerns over the conduct of the election, with political parties and stakeholders raising accusations of intimidation, violence and alleged attempts to manipulate the process.
