Lawmaker representing Egbeda/Ona-Ara in the House of Representatives, Hon. Akin Alabi, has called on members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) youth wing in Egbeda Local Government Area (LGA) of Oyo State to remain united, as the party begins preparations for the 2027 general elections.
The message was delivered on his behalf by Director-General (DG) of the Akin Alabi Campaign Organisation, Hon. Debo Amoo, during the APC Egbeda youth meeting held, weekend, at the party secretariat, Iwo Road, Ibadan,the state capital.
Addressing the gathering, Alabi stressed that unity among party members would be critical to delivering victory for all APC candidates in the elections.
He urged the youth to remain committed to the party’s ideals and continue strengthening its grassroots structure across the local government.
The meeting, which was presided over by the APC youth leader, Comrade Adio Mutairu, focused on strategies for mobilising young party members and preparing for the 2027 campaign.
Participants discussed ways to deepen youth engagement and consolidate the party’s presence at the grassroots.
In support of the youth wing and its mobilisation efforts, Hon. Amoo announced a donation of ₦1 million on behalf of Hon. Alabi.
The announcement was warmly received by members, who expressed appreciation for the continued support and encouragement.
The meeting ended with renewed optimism and a shared commitment to work together in ensuring the APC records a successful outing in the general elections.
