One Dead In Kaduna Mosque Attack, Police Nab 12 Suspects

By Achadu Gabriel, Kaduna Kaduna State Police Command has arrested 12 suspected armed hoodlums linked to an attack on a mosque during Tahajjud prayers in the state. Tahajjud prayers, also called the Night Prayer or Salat al-Layl, are voluntary prayers performed in the late hours of the night. A statement by Command's spokesman, Deputy Superintendent (DSP) Mansir Hassan, stated that one person was "dangerously stabbed" and later died before the suspected hoodlums were nabbed by police.
