Mbah lamented that many small scale industries are not growing because they find it difficult to get financial assistance since financial institutions such as NEXIM, Bank of Industry and Bank of Agriculture, demand collateral before granting loans. Opening up on his alleged involvement in a coup plot to topple the government of President Bola Tinubu, former Minister of State for Petroleum Resources, Chief Timipre Sylva, has rubbished claims linking him to any such plot. A fresh list of those granted clemency by President Bola Tinubu has been unfurled by the Presidency. The list contains about 15 Nigerians pardoned by the Tinubu administration. The United States (US) has revoked the visa of Nobel laureate, Professor Wole Soyinka, leaving the playwright in disbelief. By the global superpower's action, Soyinka cannot enter the US as he has been barred. Speaking today at a media briefing held at Kongi’s Harvest Gallery, Freedom Park, Lagos Island, Soyinka expressed surprise and confusion over the decision.
