By Johnson Nwankwo A tipper driver, Thursday, killed a motorcyclist in Anambra State. The tipper, fully loaded with sand, fell after killing the yet-to-be-identified man. The driver fled after killing the motorcyclist; police are trailing him, an eyewitness said. The incident occurred at Nteje Umueri by Awka-Nteje-Onitsha expressway. The probable cause of the crash was attributed to wrongful overtaking. According to an eyewitness, the motorcyclist was trying to overtake the tipper when it lost control, and fell before the tipper. The enforcement and apprehension of the defaulters were announced on Thursday by the Sector Commander, Federal Road Safety Corps, Nasarawa State Command, SC Lucy Samuel-Mhii. She stated this during the launch of the aggressive public sensitization and enlightenment campaign in the state.
