A lawsuit seeking President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's removal from office has been dismissed by the Supreme Court of Nigeria, which said it was frivolous. The suit, filed by Hope Democratic Party (HDP)'s presidential candidate, Ambrose Owuru, alleged American Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) and drug involvement in the President's candidacy matter. There are strong indications that tomorrow's scheduled 2025 budget presentation by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to a joint session of the National Assembly (NASS) has been shifted. A top source told PeopleandPolitics that the event will now hold on Wednesday, December 18,2024.
