*’We’re Unshaken, Tinubu Must Be Re-elected’

The secretariat of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu–Kehinde Olaosebikan Grassroots Movement (PBAT-KO Movement), situated at CICU Building, Olomi-Olojuoro road, Oluyole Local Government Area, Ibadan, Oyo State capital, was reportedly attacked on Monday by hoodlums suspected to be agents of the Allied Peoples Movement (APM).
The APM is the political platform of Oyo State governor Seyi Makinde, who is the party’s presidential candidate for the 2027 election.
A statement by the Publicity Secretary of the movement, Comrade Femi Omolola, on Thursday, noted that the secretariat, which is currently the only visible campaign office for the 2027 re-election of President Tinubu in Ibadan, was vandalised, with campaign banners, boards and other materials destroyed and windows shattered.
“The attack was discovered by members of the movement who visited the office after the incident. A physical assessment revealed damage to campaign properties,” the statement added.
The PBAT-KO Movement was established late last year by a former Chairman of Oluyole Local Government and Chairman, Media and Publicity Committee of the Tinubu/Shettima APC Presidential Campaign Council, Oyo State in 2023, Alhaji Kehinde Olaosebikan, as a hub for grassroots mobilisation for the second term of President Tinubu.
“Since establishment, the movement has been mobilising across Oluyole Local Government and beyond, with the aim of improving on the votes garnered by President Tinubu in 2023,” it added.
Conducting journalists round the building, Comrade Omolola said the movement remained resolute, despite the attack.
According to him: “We are undaunted. We are totally committed. Nothing can stop us in our staunch decision to give our very best in support of the President.
“The convener of PBAT-KO Movement and our leader, Alhaji Kehinde Olaosebikan, and all his followers are totally committed to tripling the votes of President Tinubu in the election and nothing is stopping us.
“President Tinubu is not just the best among the candidates; the President is the most suitable leader to lead this country. He has, in the last three years, laid a very solid foundation for a prosperous and great Nigeria.
“We are confident that President Tinubu will give us the Nigeria of our dream. In addition to his unmatched sterling qualities, President Tinubu is contesting on the ticket of the most formidable and best organised party in Africa, the APC.
“We are certain that President Tinubu will make a mincemeat of all his opponents on 16th January, 2027.”
