*Slams Obi, NDC Local Leaders Over Primary

A key supporter of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu (PBAT) and chieftain of PBAT Door-to-Door Movement, Barrister Esimaje Awani, has commended High Chief Government Oweizide Ekpemukpolo (alias Tompolo) for what he described as his unending support for Tinubu’s quest for a second term in office.
According to him, President Tinubu has performed greatly in his first tenure in positively touching the lives of Nigerians.
Barrister Awani, a prominent politician, in an exclusive interview with People&Politics in Warri, Delta State, described Tompolo as a household name in the country, noting that he believes in fairness, equity and the nation’s transformation.
“It is no more news that our great leader has done very well in all its ramification by putting a stop to all illegal bunkering, assists the needy and encourages both men and women, the young and old, to live a meaningful life,” he said.
Awani, who recently contested for the House of Representatives primary under the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), castigated leaders of the party, especially its presidential candidate, Mr. Peter Obi, whom, he claimed, under his watch the primary was manipulated, with his (Awani’s) victory allegedly given to someone else.
“I won the primary, but injustice was done to me by leaders of the party that denied my success at the primary election,” he lamented, describing the leaders as “biased persons.”
To him, Obi is a clueless leader, whom, he claimed, cannot lead the country successfully, if given the mandate.
He called on Nigerians to continue to support President Tinubu, just as he commended High Chief Ekpemukpolo.
“PBAT means well for the country, hence I am urging thousands of my supporters to join hands in ensuring his (Tinubu’s) second coming a reality,” Awani pleaded.
He said the PBAT Door-to-Door Movement is already achieving great success “and it is very clear to both the blind and the lame that scores of eligible voters are already singing halleluiah that Tompolo is succeeding in his effort of making Tinubu second coming a success.”
