In yet unclear circumstances, a military combat drone on Friday, 2 January, crashed in the Kontagora forest area of Niger State.
A photograph which went viral on social media showed the unmanned aerial drone lying on the savannah grasslands of the location, though it did not explode, as of press time.
The military authorities and Niger State government were yet to issue any statement on the crash.
