A Federal Capital Territory (FCT)-based educationist and school proprietor, Malam Lawal Sani, has counseled parents on the imperative to equip their children and wards with both professional skills and conventional academic aptitudes so as to emerge successful in today’s world.
In a press statement he signed and issued today, September 11, Malam Sani, who is the Director, Unique Trait Academy, Karshi, pinpointed such combination as the winning pair for children, who are the leaders of tomorrow, to necessarily acquire and become success stories in both the national and global economies.
According to him, Unique Trait Academy, which welcomes pupils and students for the 2025/26 new academic session from Monday, September 15, is already miles ahead in productively grooming the young ones to secure their future through skills acquisition and regular academics due to its vast resources in teaching and vital skills facilities on ground.
“Getting tomorrow’s leaders very ready today is our forte and we’re well equipped in relevant quality staffing and necessary infrastructure for that.
“By the time the students get to the outside world, after graduating from Unity Trait, or to higher institutions, they are already well used to whatever professional course they intend to pursue. It becomes a fait accompli for them.
”They don’t need to ‘sort’ any lecturer to pass any course they opt to read, because we’ve given them the important grounding they require to do better in the courses. Why do you need to bribe a lecturer when, as our graduate, you’re probably going to consistently emerge top in class tests ahead of your semester exams?”, the Director stated.
Extolling other virtues of his school, Malam Sani pointed to the serene location of the institution, sited along Gurape road, Karshi.
Malam Sani, who is a retired Director in FCT’s Universal Basic Education Board (UBEB), renowned for his zeal for versatile (skills and conventional) education in today’s global environment, stated that the stress-free ambience allows pupils to fully concentrate to merge the learning of skills and academics, with a school vehicle handy to take care of transportation.
Proper care, he stated, is taken for all cadres of students in the school because “we have pre-nursery, nursery, primary school pupils” who he described as the nation’s jewels, rare gems, to truly lift the country into the Digital Age as well as imprint her among the global sports elite as happened in the era of Nigeria’s first ever Olympic gold medallist sprinter Mary Onyali-Omagbemi, Falilat Ogunkoya, and other greats.
