The Renewed Hope Global Virtual Town Hall Conference, a pro-President Bola Tinubu group, is set to hold a special Christmas edition of its activities.
According to a statement signed by its Chief Host, Chief Joseph Kolawole Adebola, at the weekend, the event will hold on Saturday, December 21, 2024.
Chief Adebola stated that the conference will dwell on developments in Federal Government’s student loans scheme.
The theme of the meeting, he disclosed, is ‘NELFUND: Why, What, and How?’
Adebola said the Special Guest at the event would be the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer (MD/CEO) of Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND),Mr. Akintunde Oluwole Sawyerr.
According to him, the conference would be via Zoom, with Conference ID: 4329105086, Passcode: Nigeria001 and Link: zoom.us/join.
He gave the different times, depending on the country of residence of expected participants, as: 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. for Abuja;
3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. for London; 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. for New York/Toronto; 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. for Moscow; and
7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. for Dubai.
“Join us for an in-depth exploration of NELFUND, the innovative student loan initiative designed to empower Nigerian students.
“We shall be discussing why the initiative was established and its importance for educational access and equity.
“Also, what the initiative offers, including its structure, benefits, and opportunities; how to apply, navigate the application process and maximise its advantages will be looked at,” Chief Adebola said.
