Letter To President Tinubu: Request For True Federalism

By Pastor Yemi Olayinka I hope this letter meets you well. In recent time, I have been bothered about the situation of our dear country and I have a firm belief, the trust and confidence, while I don't have any doubt in my mind, that you mean well for Nigeria, and I have an assurance in my spirit that you will surely succeed. The current fume and body language from the North is scary, very worrisome. They can't wait for your exit to serve the South a breakfast. In Nigeria, this is the very first time, a Southerner would assume…

Tinubu Igbo Integration Claim: American Veterans Of Igbo Descent, Others Scold Umahi, Ask Minister Searching Questions

A coalition of pan-Igbo self determination groups --American Veterans of Igbo Descent (AVID), Ambassadors for Self-Determination (ASD) and Rising Sun Foundation (RSF) -- has slammed Minister of Works, Dave Umahi, over his claim, some days ago, that President Bola Tinubu has integrated Igbos into Nigeria's mainstream, thus rendering the Biafra agitation unwarranted. Frowning at such claim, the coalition queried Umahi, who was a governor of Ebonyi State in South-East Nigeria, picking several holes in the Minister's assertion even as it described him allegedly as a betrayer. Furthermore, the group tracked back into global history and concluded that the activities of…

INTIMATE AFFAIRS: This Scarcity Of Mr Right

By FUNKE EGBEMODE Happily ever after is what most girls set their eyes and hearts on. Right from when we know that you are still a girl without the frilly dresses and pink bows and ribbons, we begin the plan. Yeah, we know how to be coy, bat our eyelids and try not to swoon and faint at the feet our first crush. The heart-melting smile comes naturally. We are born sweet, all of us girls. It is the men who ruin us. Or why do you think pretty little things who once curtsied politely in pink become hard-faced big girls…
