On 1 April, reports surfaced online that the Minister, a close ally of President Bola Tinubu, had quit office. Tinubu reportedly handed his subordinates a deadline of 31 March to quit, if they were interested in running for any political office in 2027. By Sylvia Kodilichukwu, Enugu Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has deployed 569 personnel for the Easter Special Patrol to ensure free flow of traffic within major roads in Enugu State. Sector Commander, FRSC Enugu State Command, Mr Franklin Agbakoba, disclosed this to newsmen in Enugu. Agbakoba noted that the personnel included 309 regular and 260 special marshals.
