Another US lawmaker has raised an issue with what he alleged is a genocide against Christians in Nigeria, and has officially brought the matter to the attention of President Donald Trump. In a letter to the US President, Representative Riley M. The court declared the action taken by State Governor Seyi Makinde in 2019 proscribing the union as unlawful. Federal High Court in Abuja, was Monday, 6 October, asked to issue an order of perpetual injunction, restraining former President Goodluck Jonathan from presenting himself to any political party in the country for the purpose of contesting the 2027 presidential election.
