Newly-installed President General (PG), Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide, Nze Ozichukwu Fidelis Chukwu, has challenged the Federal Government to release detained leader of Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu. He asserted that government has no sufficient reason to keep detaining him. Kanu was returned to Nigeria from Kenya,where he was arrested, in June, 2021 by the former Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari administration and has been in detention since then, facing terrorism-related charges.
