FCT Council Polls: AA Takes Abuja Municipal By Storm, Residents Express Confidence In Candidates

As the clock winds down to the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Area Council elections, the Action Alliance (AA) campaign train made a stop at Sabon Lugbe South-East, sparking fresh grassroots enthusiasm.

Addressing a large crowd of residents and party faithful, the AA Chairmanship candidate for Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC), Godson Nemieboka, called on the community to rally behind the AA in the forthcoming polls, pledging people-centred leadership anchored on service, accountability, and inclusive development.

Affirming support for the administration of President Bola Tinubu, Nemieboka assured voters that an AA-led AMAC would work in close synergy with the office of the FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike, to deliver tangible improvements in infrastructure, security, and social welfare for AMAC residents and the FCT at large.

Speaking earlier, the AA Councillorship candidate for Kabusa Ward, Lewis Igberhi, unveiled plans to establish and fund community-based groups aimed at supporting small and medium-scale enterprises (SMEs), empowering the youth and women.

The rally, which recorded a massive turnout, ended on a high note as residents expressed optimism and renewed confidence in the AA’s vision for responsive grassroots governance and inclusive prosperity in the FCT.
