Bature Likoro Is New Agwom Akulu 111 Of Ikulu Chiefdom,Gov Sani Congratulates Him

Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State has approved the appointment of Mr. Sunday Bature Likoro as the new Agwom Akulu 111 following the death of His Royal Highness (HRH) Yohanna Sidi Kukah on December, 18, 2024.

A statement signed by the State Commissioner of Local Government Affairs, Hon. Sadiq Mamman Lagos, on Tuesday, which confirmed this, said that Mr. Likoro has been appointed as a 3rd Class Chief.

According to the statement, the new Agwom Akulu was born on 15 August, 1958 and holds a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Business Administration from The Kaduna Polytechnic.

The Commissioner noted that Mr Likoro wields a lot of influence in his locality, due to his record of service and community development activities where he has interacted with and is accepted by several stakeholders over time.

The statement added that although the appointment is with immediate effect, ‘’all other arrangements for the installation ceremony and presentation of staff of office would be announced in due course.’’

The Commissioner disclosed that Gov. Sani has congratulated the new Agwom Akulu “for a well deserved appointment and wishes him success and God’s guidance.’’
