Federal High Court, Abuja, today, dismissed the application for a no-case submission filed by leader of Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu.
According to the court, headed by Justice James Omotosho, here exists a prima facie case against him by the Federal Government (FG).
Kanu,who is being detained for years now in the headquarters of Department of State Services (DSS), Abuja, is being tried for alleged terrorism.
Therefore, the court ordered him to present his defence in the terrorism charges levelled against him.
Delivering ruling on the no-case submission, Justice Omotosho averred that it is in Kanu’s best interest to be handed the opportunity to clear some issues levelled against him.
