Team Koseleri, the group of former Chairmen of Local Government Areas (LGAs) during the tenure of Governor’s Abiola Ajimobi, has expressed deep condolences to Professor Deolu Akande, former Chairman, Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) following the passing of his father, Pa Amos Adetunji Akande.
In a statement signed by the Coordinator of Team Koseleri, Hon. Yekeen Popoola, the group extended its heartfelt sympathies to the Akande family, describing the late Pa Akande as a man of integrity, wisdom, and exemplary values whose legacy will continue to inspire many across generations.
“We received with deep sorrow the news of the passing of your dear father, Pa Amos Adetunji Akande. Team Koseleri stands with you during this difficult period, and we pray for the peaceful repose of his soul,” Hon. Popoola stated.
The statement further acknowledged the pivotal role Pa Akande played in the life and success of Professor Deolu, highlighting the values of discipline, education, and service which the late patriarch instilled in his children and community.
“Pa Akande was not only a father but a mentor and moral compass whose contributions to the development of his family and society will be remembered with respect and admiration.
“We urge Professor Akande and the entire family to take solace in the impactful life he lived,” the statement added.
Team Koseleri also prayed for strength and comfort for the bereaved family, urging them to uphold the values and legacy Pa Akande left behind.
The late Pa Amos Adetunji Akande left behind children, grandchildren, and a legacy of honor and service.
