We’ll Continue To Do Our Best To Develop Niger Delta -Ogbuku, NDDC MD

Managing Director (MD), Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), Dr. Samuel Ogbuku, has reiterated the commission’s effort to positively impact all oil-producing communities in the Niger Delta.

According to him, the Commission has laid out many programmes to facilitate its readiness to make life easier for the populace.

Dr. Ogbuku, who disclosed these while addressing a world press conference in Asaba on the occasion of the 25th establishment of the Commission, further disclosed that a lot of abandoned mega projects have been completed while new ones are also been executed under his charge.

According to him, the Commission will continue with its foreign scholarship scheme which he described as the best in the country.

On health and free medical scheme, Dr. Ogbuku, flanked by top management officials of NDDC, revealed that the free medical treatment which was done once a year, has been increased to twice yearly for greater impact across the region.

“We are working very hard to carry out the mandates of our renewed hope to the needy who also hope to see us progressing,” Dr. Ogbuku added, insisting that no effort will be spared to achieve more results.

He commended President Bola Tinubu, Senate President Godswill Akpabio, and all members of the National Assembly for their immense contributions towards the many achievements of the Commission.
