Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf of Kano State marked his 62nd birthday in a unique and reflective manner by visiting the grave of his late father, Alhaji Kabiru Yusuf, at Dandolo graveyard in Kano,North-West Nigeria.
This was contained in a statement issued by the governor’s spokesperson, Sunusi Bature Dawaki Tofa.
The visit was a heartfelt moment for the governor as he paid tribute to the man who shaped his values and inspired his journey into public service.
The late Yusuf was a prominent member of the regional parliament in Kaduna and a seasoned administrator known for his integrity and dedication to his people.
Reflecting on his father’s legacy, Gov. Yusuf said: “My father’s life was a testament to leadership rooted in service, humility, and unwavering commitment to justice. His memory continues to guide me in all I do.”
The governor also took a moment to honor his mother, Malama Khadijatul-Naja’atu.
