NUJ FCTA Chapel Celebrates Women, Thanks Wike, Bunkure For Accomplishments

Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) chapel, has saluted Nigerian women, saying they continue to make invaluable and tangible contributions in various spheres of national life.

Joining the global community to commemorate today’s International Women’s Day, themed ‘Give to Gain’, Chairperson of the chapel, Ngozi Ufomba Uloma, in a statement she personally signed, a copy of which was made available to People&Politics, lauded “our remarkable women members” who, she stressed, embody the theme.

She emphasized: “By giving their best, leveraging their skills, and pursuing excellence, women gain recognition, opportunities, and success. Your dedication inspires us all.”

The Chairperson commended the Minister of FCT, Barrister Nyesom Wike, and the Minister of State, FCT, Dr. Mariya Mahmud Bunkure, for championing women’s empowerment.

Uloma cited as examples, the establishment of FCTA’s Women Secretariat as “a testament to your commitment, creating pathways for women to thrive. We appreciate your impactful leadership.”

The statement continued: “To all women, let’s continue to give our best, support one another, and gain greatness. Your contributions matter, and your success is our collective triumph.
