Multi-award-winning journalist, Nnah Douglas, today added another beautiful plume to his cap as leading broadcast outfit, Wazobia FM, crowned him the maiden Newsroom Staff of the Month.
The event took place in the newsroom of Cool FM, Wazobia FM and Nigeria Info FM –the outfits in the media group –in Abuja, the nation’s capital.
Speaking during the presentation of the award, News Manager of the stations, Fidel Oseghale, said the Staff of the Month initiative was introduced to motivate newsroom staff to be more dedicated and committed to duty.
On his part, amid roaring applause from his colleagues, Douglas appreciated the news manager for the gesture and dedicated the award to his colleagues in the newsroom.
Douglas is the Producer of the popular and widely received Demsay Demsay News on 99.5 Wazobia FM Abuja and 95.1 Wazobia FM, Lagos.
A graduate of Mass Communication, Douglas has, over the years, demonstrated immense passion for journalism, especially the broadcast genre, putting in more than the required commitment to help lift the Wazobia Group to its present enviable top status among in the country.
He is happily married with children.
