*Paperwork Being Finalized For Release Of Corpse To Shettima, Others
The remains of immediate past President Muhammadu Buhari will be buried tomorrow, Tuesday, July 15 when his body is expected to be in Nigeria.
The body will be interred at 2pm in his hometown, Daura, Katsina State.
These were disclosed by Katsina State Governor Umar Radda today.
According to the governor, the corpse will arrive Nigeria about noon tomorrow from London, where he died yesterday in a hospital.
The disclosure came as reports said paperwork was being finalized for release of his remains to the Federal Government.
Vice President Kashim Shettima, Chief of Staff to the President, Femi Gbajabiamila, and some senior government officials are in London to convey the remains to Nigeria.
Channels TV reported that they are coordinating efforts towards getting the final paperwork for the body’s release.
