As President Bola Tinubu visits Benue state tomorrow over the horrendous killings perpetrated in the North-Central State by killer herdsmen, the latest of which claimed over 200 lives weekend, the State Government has declared tomorrow a public holiday.
A statement signed by Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Deborah Serumun Aber, revealed that the holiday is applicable to the general public, pointing out, however, that essential service workers, including health workers, security agents, and bank personnel, were exempt from the holiday.
The state government, according to the statement, urged residents to turn out in large numbers to receive the President and his entourage during the visit.
