A statement by the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Udeme Edet, said the State Police boss, who assured of security, extended warm wishes to the Muslim community in the State ahead of the celebrations on Friday and Monday next week.
According to the statement, the CP assured of public safety, urging all residents of the State to go about their daily activities without fear.
Emenari also assured that adequate security personnel would be deployed to strategic locations to guarantee safety.
The Command, the statement added, appealed to worshipers to adhere to security guidelines, be law-abiding and conduct themselves peacefully throughout the celebrations.
