APC Has A New National Chairman


Th All Progressives Congress, APC, has a new National Chairman. He is Prof. Nentawe Yiltwada.

An indigene of Kanke Local Government Area of Plateau State, he was the APC governorship Candidate for Plateau state in 2023.

The National Executive Committee (NEC) of the ruling party (APC) appointed Prof. Nentawe Yiltwada who is the Humanitarian Affairs Minister, as the party’s National Chairman.

Yiltwada replaces Dr Abdullahi Ganduje, who resigned on June 27.

Chairman of the Progressive Governors’ Forum (PGF), Governor Hope Uzodinma of Imo state, made the nomination, and he was seconded by the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Dr Tajudeen Abbas.

A close associate of former Plateau Governor, Simon Lalong, he was born August 8, 1968, to a Christian missionary father.

The NEC meeting is currently ongoing at the Presidential Villa.
